DCA (dichloroacetate) is an odourless, colourless, inexpensive, relatively non-toxic, small molecule. Researchers at the University of Alberta believe DCA is the cure for cancer. But big pharmaceutical companies aren't interested because DCA is not patentable, meaning there is no money to be made, so they will not spend millions for clinical trials.

"Scientists and doctors have used DCA for decades to treat children with inborn errors of metabolism due to mitochondrial diseases. Mitochondria, the energy producing units in cells, have been connected with cancer since the 1930s, when researchers first noticed that these organelles dysfunction when cancer is present."
Holy shit, I hope this isn't true, cant's those big guys do it for charity, it's good for their karma too. Human greed just makes me sick. Obviously, drug companies are greedy for spending millions and then trying to make money. Some rich country can use millions or billions to go for wars killing people but not taking their money to save more people.
